While driving I75 thru Valdosta recently I listened to Jay & Sarah’s take on short people that brought back a funny memory of my father. Ron, who passed away nearly 21 years ago, was about 5’5” short, never passed up an opportunity to poke fun at himself about his height. At one point during his term as Mayor of the small Florida town we lived in issued a Proclamation declaring the use of the word short as illegal one day a year. As you might guess he got some good laughs out of his action
