Most of us hate apologizing…but there are days when we have to man (or woman) up and try to make things right. And of course, there’s researched scientific proof of the best way to apologize in six not-so-easy steps. Say the words, “I’m sorry” in a genuine tone…explain what went wrong…admit that it was your fault (ouch!)…repent…offer up a fix…and ask forgiveness.
Oh…and do it in person. No texting allowed for apologies. And if you can’t handle all six steps, jump straight to number three (admit it’s your fault) and offer to fix it.
